Our certified Grooming staff provide a comfortable and sanitary environment to ensure your family member will have the best experience available while in our care. We are a cage-free, low stress salon suitable for both young animals who need to get used to being groomed as well as older furbabies who need a gentle, quiet pampering. All of our staff are certified through the International Pet Groomers Association and are K-9 CPR certified in case of any unforeseen emergencies.

Typically, a groomer is taking care of a number of dogs at the same time – monitoring the washing of one while checking out the nail clipping of another. Personal Paws Mobile Pet Salon is SOLELY focused on your family member from the time they step into our salon until they are safely back inside their home. The combination of a strange environment and barking dogs are great stressors for an animal. The serene environment of being groomed in a quiet, solitary salon will show your family member the experience is nothing to be scared of.

What could be more convenient than your pet being pampered in our salon at their home while you are worry-free at work or free to do other activities around your house? Many groomers keep dogs in crates or cages when they aren’t being groomed. This makes sense, because mixing a number of dogs together is only asking for trouble; however, our focus is on YOUR family member and they will never be waiting extended periods of stressful time in cages. There’s no risk of diseases like kennel cough that other animals may be spreading at another groomer’s shop since your family member is the only furbaby we have in our Salon.

What to expect:

Personal Paws Mobile Grooming is unlike anything you or your pet has ever experienced. Once inside the all self-contained, climate controlled, state-of-the-art mobile salon, we begin the grooming process. We begin all of our pampering services with a health inspection to advise you of any additional services necessary. Up on the grooming table we remove any excess ear hair and then clean the ears with a special, safe product. We then trim the toenails and grind them for a smoother finish.

Next comes the warm, therapeutic, hydro massaging Prima® bath. We use only Personal Paws Essential Elements Shampoo (Formerly Mauro Pet Care) which is one of the highest quality, all natural, Holistic biodegradable shampoos available, especially formulated for your pet’s skin condition and coat texture. We lather all dogs twice to ensure all debris and dirt are completely, yet gently, removed from the skin and coat. A thorough rinsing of your pet prepares them to be towel dried and ready for the application of the Personal Paws (Formerly Mauro Pet Care) Leave In Conditioning and Detangler treatment to restore your dog’s healthy coat while nourishing the delicate pH balance of your dog’s skin. To finish off the bath, we fluff dry by hand using a non-heated dryer specifically designed for dogs. (No cage drying.)
